The Lieberman-Warner Climate Security Act has picked up a decent amount of support from labor groups. So far:

The Building and Construction Trades Department of the AFL-CIO, which includes:

  • International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers
  • International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers
  • International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Iron Ship Builders, Blacksmiths, Forgers and Helpers
  • International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers
  • International Brotherhood of Teamsters
  • International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers
  • International Union of Elevator Constructors
  • International Union of Painters and Allied Trades
  • Laborers' International Union of North America
  • Operative Plasterers' and Cement Masons' International Association of the United States and Canada
  • Sheet Metal Workers' International Association
  • United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry of the United States and Canada
  • United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers
Laborers' International Union of North America

International Brotherhood of Boilermakers

Know Them By Their Friends

These endorsements, and the lack thereof, tell quite a bit about this bill.  In the first place, unions are generally anti-environment, because their jobs are based on destroying it.  Second, this list includes some of the worst anti-environmental unions, such as the Teamsters.  Third, notice that there are no progressive unions on this list, like the Longshoremen or Steelworkers.  Draw your own conclusion, it's rather obvious.
