X-Men won't mar the spotWolverine goes green in new moviePosted by Sarah van Schagen at 10:12 PM on 20 Feb 2008Marvel at this: X-Men Origins: Wolverine will be an environmentally friendly production. This fourth movie based on the Marvel Comics characters is currently being filmed in New Zealand, and the producers have agreed to work with the local Queenstown Lakes District Council on a "green screen" initiative. As part of the project, the council will do an environmental impact assessment of the sets and find ways to maximize recycling efforts. A "green screen" template will then be produced for use in determining the resource consent conditions of future productions in the area. And if that isn't good news enough, rumor has it that Friday Night Lights hottie Taylor Kitsch may be playing the role of Gambit in the film. Oh, Riggins, you can tackle my heart any day!
