New Hampshire prediction, guaranteed accurate to the tenth decimal

Posted by David Roberts at 9:29 AM on 08 Jan 2008

Obama by 8, McCain by 3. Clinton in second, Edwards in third. Romney in second, Huckabee in third.

Guaranteed?

Perhaps some new definition with which I'm unfamiliar?  :D

Yep

Those polling corporations, I bet none were infiltrated by rove operatives.  That couldn't happen, could it?  Rove would have been working this angle for years, if not decades.

Mwahahahaha, Nixonian rat-effing moved into the computer/media age.

Talk about a backfire!  Did voters rush to the polls as a protest of manipulated polls featured on mass delusional media?  It's a possibility.

The Colbert interview with a blogger following the Obama bus is very illuminating.  It ocurred before the Hillary win.  Look at his take on the crying incident (Hillary faking sincerity) and the inevitability of Obama.

Youth enthusiam?  Maybe.  But young republicans looking to emulate rove might get carried away and actually boo Hillary and pretend to support Obama.

Maybe packing Iowa caucuses with dishonest anti-clinton crossover voting?  That didn't work in NH, no caucueses.

David Roberts: closet Republican?

David, you almost nailed it on the Republican side (the spread for McCain was only slightly larger than you predicted). Did you have inside knowledge, or are you just naturally attuned to the thinking of Republicans?

;-)

These are only my personal opinions.
