Irony of the day

In the course of a Washington Post story on the fate of the House and Senate energy bills, we hear this about Bush's feelings on climate change legislation:

But Bush still opposes unilateral U.S. action.

Sometimes, anyway.

Wouldn't it be even more ironic


if towards the end of Bush's presidency the enviros and the corporations behind USCAP convince Bush to change his feelings and sign a cap and trade bill (probably with allocations and not auctions).
