The World Resources Institute has a new report out comparing the various climate bills floating around Congress. Here's what you need to know (click for larger version):

WRI climate bill comparison

This confirms what we already knew, that Sanders-Boxer is the best bill and the only one that has a chance of stabilizing CO2 at levels we can live with. Call your legislator!

Nifty chart tho

hope

And how do you liberals hope to enact the Boxer bill? You have no plan whatsoever -- none -- it's merely a number you have posited. You don't have the slightest fucking clue how to enact it. It's all just a meaningless guess and it will never, NEVER, come about. Why are you even wasting your time???? Why can't we get serious about this???

Is it liberalism or just pure stupidity

Whilst we could be stuck in a loop throwing jabs at either "Party" of fools,The pure truth that carbon is not "Forcing" the climate to change is just rolled aside as that does not create the cash flow that is being foisted on the un-informed mass hysteria science facultae set.Its about the money to be made and the junkets to be visited.(By the way ,has anyone checked some of the dates and locations for those so important meetings) And geez, couldnt honest men and women use "NET MEETING" To be fiscally conservative and leave alot less "Carbon",burned and un-burned in the atmosphere. This commercial brought to you by the old science "Papas" on the planet who just groan at the false science being used by men and women who have stopped their growth, and we all have a tear in our eye, having to ponder the damage that has been wrought on the intellect on the planet.

Shaman, then what

Then what, pray tell, is causing the warming?

Since we already know for certain that it's not increased solar radiation causing it.

Don't you find it the least bit strange that Exxon's PR firm is the exact same one which Phillip Morris used to deny that smoking causes lung cancer?

Certainly if you are grumbling about tax dollars being used to create energy, you must be enraged by the thought of the status quo.

If you'd like to know...

WRI and Goldman Sachs have atleast one answer to the question "how do we get there?"

Grumbling

Grey Falcon,I have explained several times on this forum that it is not carbon, but increased grid revv, the same as our 11 year cycle, but continuous due to a larger body and period that revisits us at 1050 year intervals.I can explain fully ,or you may be able to pull up my comments, let me know if you cannot find the text and really want to understand the science.I am not grunmbling about tax dollars used to create energy, and by the way what energy has been created with tax dollars? The release of our hydrogen process to replace the coal for firing power plant boilers is what I am after, how about you, would you be on board to replace the coal with frequency generated hydrogen?

Earth Shaman
So let me get this straight

First off, You think that that "frequency generated hydrogen" thing isn't fake?

You can not bypass the second law of thermodynamics.

"There is no breakthrough", said Professor Scavuzzo, "because there are more efficient ways of breaking water down to hydrogen and oxygen."

"One way or another you have to add energy and one way or another, what's going to come out is less than what you put in."

___

Second off, I have no idea what you are talking about "grid revv".  Care to point me to any peer reviewed physical science journals talking about what you are saying?

According to Google, you, are individually the only person on the internet using that term.

Cuckoo of the moment

All we need to do is get ahold of the "planetary builders that are men long ago" and we'll have this global warming thing licked.

Science Fiction

As you may be aware,we can generate ozone with a light tube for use in water purification and even Wal-Mart is using the gas in its meat case. Its O3 sir.Light frequency Sir,light frequency. Its what makes the sky blue too.So how is it unheard of except for me that gases are not produced with frequency(music by the way)Your laws of thermodynamics have needed some repair since their inception, and your physics guys also. Its not my fault that schools do not have tier one information, its just not. And heres a tid-bit for you too "CCE" This old cuckoo says that creation master geneticists provided crickets and grasshoppers to open the stomata of plants at night to let out the gaseous componentry that is exhausted from the burning of its carbo-hydrate.And that ozone I spoke to earlier breaks down to o2 by the time it hits the ground and de-couples from the aetheric(Electrical) force that works the motor of our planet and heats the magma and brings the weather systems forth on the planet.Wanna chat about thermo-dynamics and the laws of the universe. Lets chat Sir. I did not bypass your second law.Your mentors have bypassed planetary science.
