Freelance sports writer Joe Connor is embarking this fall on a four-month-long Green Power Sports Tour (holy neon website!), visiting more than 100 football, hockey, and basketball venues -- in a biodiesel car, natch. Hey ladies ... he's self-described "very, very single" ...

"very very single"

Watch out, ladies, he has the smile of a T. rex.  He looks like the kind who has a companion at least through cocktails and the appetizer, but finds himself "very very single" by the time dessert is served.

Oh, I do hope I am wrong; I hope that beneath that rough college-jockish exterior is a heart of gold.  But you can never be too cautious these days, can you.  There are all sorts of sharp-toothed lads who show up for environmentalist events and pretend to be interested, just in order to meet chicks.

Chickens deserve our true friendship! So do fish! So do other sentient beings! Let us learn to be kind.

That's the greenest green I've ever seen

I think it burned out one of my retinas...blink, blink. There is nothing wrong with driving a green car to attract the elusive eco-chick. Good luck to you Joe! For the planet!

In the end, it all comes down to biodiversity. Poison Darts--Protecting the biodiversity of our world
