On this Daily Show broadcast, Al Gore expressed his desire for the President to see An Inconvenient Truth.

Dear President Bush,

We believe that global warming is a nonpartisan issue affecting the future of all Americans.

We are concerned that when asked if you were likely to see "An Inconvenient Truth," you replied "Doubt it." (AP, May 23, 2006).

We call upon you to put aside whatever personal feelings you have regarding Mr. Gore, and see this film.

The President of the United States has a special responsibility to gather all of the facts about growing dangers to our country, to assure that crucial information is not ignored, and to act decisively to protect the American people.
