I'm not a big fan of flash animation. I am, however, a huge fan of plug-in hybrids. Love trumps hate in this instance, so I urge you to check out Calcar.org's efforts to spread the word on the benefits of plug-in hybrids with this piece of viral marketing.

If you make it to the end of the animation, there's a chance to sign a petition to automakers urging them to manufacture plug-ins.

viral is the way to go...

Haven't had a chance to view the ad yet, (limitations of work internet access)...but what a great idea.

Viral flash animations are a great inexpensive way to get your message out there.

Me and the guys over at sydneypeakoil.net were discussing this idea for peak oil issues... glad others are too.

Plug-in hybrids

Hey Adam - is there a good place to get more information about plug-in hybrids?  On the face of it this seems like a good idea, but it also seems like using one would simply displace where the dead dinosaurs are burned.

More info from a reliable source would be handy.

Also

You can just ignore my previous question.  I actually followed the link you put out there and found a wealth of information.  It's pretty bad that my first assumption about a viral campaign is that they are shallow and useless.

Carry on.

flash

Kinda has a pacing porblem, for me. Love the good intentions though. As for viral flash, check out eclectech, especially the Gitmo song and ensure your place on an FBI watch list today!

pacing problem?

wedjr, what do you mean by pacing problem?

cheers

Yes jr!

"...ensure your place on an FBI watch list today!"

I think it really frustrates them that we see it as an honor, rather than a threat.  Do your worst nimrods, hehehey.

This viral video enviro trend has a chance of turning the whole herd of lemmings away from the global climate disaster cliff.

Have you heard the GOP boast?  We have a bumpersticker, they have an essay.

Well boyz we have a viral podcast, stuff your bumpersticker.
