Breaking news!

At my breakfast this morning with Lester Brown, the man ordered a ham and cheese omelet.

That's right. This alleged "environmentalist" is not ... a ... vegetarian.

Press inquiries may be directed to me.

Developing ...

This rocks

Was it at least a sustainable/local/hippie place, or are we talk some sort of Denny's Ham 'n Egg Monstrosity?

Victual Reality
Sadly, Tom,

it was a small local place. So the ham was probably "free range" or some such. Which takes a little bit of the sting out of my searing expose.

But still!

(PS, I had a delicious crab and avocado omelet. Crab isn't meat, is it?)

avocado?

In Seattle? In February? I sure hope the answer is some killer greenhouses in the area. Otherwise were did that avocado come from, Dave?

Schocking dave!

Free range hogs, hmmm.  Hunting them preserves biodiversity so that carnivorous behaviour is great!  Hawaii and the southern US have a big feral pig problem!

Speaking of which, how about a Prairie National Renewable Energy Conservation Park.  Where 1000s of huge wind plants spin over a renewed prairie filled with delicious free roaming organic buffalo?

Eat the healthy buffalo meat in lieu of cornfed, unhealthy, feedlot beef.  Use the wind electricity to stop greenhouse gas emmision.  Enjoy the prairie.
